What makes a GREAT dad?

by Rebecca Jimenez, Miracle Flights Sibling

A great father is someone who stands up for others and makes long lasting memories with his children. He takes us on adventures in the world and has a great sense of humor. My dad does whatever it takes to protect and support others. He is understanding and empathetic, through both the fun times and the rough times.

Through hard times he’s always been there for me. He supports me in my goals and aspirations. A good father is someone who wants to watch me succeed and watch me achieve my purpose and plan.

Where would I be without my dad by my side?

Who helped me walk my first steps? My dad did, he caught me when I fell and gave me advice that I would remember for years.

Every day, I’m going to give back to my dad, since he’s been there for me from the start. The love and support from my dad is priceless. The hugs and conversations are memorable and I take every day in consideration. All of the love I’ve received from my dad, I’ll give back to him, because he’s a good father and he deserves it.

Thank you, dad, for being supportive and for your unconditional love.

Love,
Rebecca
